Everything was amazing from the very beginning.
I was happy with hotel's peaceful and excellent location in next door field. Location: the property was short walk to the garden and a beautiful old farm. I visited Symposium few metres away from the venue for a few drinks...

We had a fantastic few days there and thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay. the breakfast offered a wonderful selection of bread and pastries. Its location, just a 4-6 minute walk from Barbican House, was excellent. the city center is conveniently located about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

We had a delightful stay at this charming countryside farmhouse. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful pond with geese created a serene atmosphere. Our hostess, Isabelle, was incredibly kind and brought us fresh breads from the local bakery for breakfast. The cozy and comfortable room ensured a good night's sleep. Despite the outdated plumbing and wiring, we were still able to enjoy our stay. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a relaxing countryside getaway.

The double room at Chambre D'Hotes Elevage' Chemin Noir was super cozy and inviting. We loved the homely feel and the comfy bed made us want to stay in all day! Having a microwave and barbecue was a bonus, perfect for quick meals and evening cookouts. And the tea/coffee maker? Well, that was just the icing on the cake. As a laid-back guest, this room ticked all the right boxes for me.
I mean, honestly, the only thing I wasn't too keen on was the tea/coffee maker. It just didn't give me that rich, aromatic coffee I crave in the mornings.

I absolutely loved the charming decoration of the hotel, especially the cozy sitting areas with beautiful antique furniture. It made me feel right at home and added a touch of elegance to my stay. The hotel's general areas were very well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. I appreciated the attention to detail in ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all guests.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have handrails or additional support in the bathrooms. Sometimes, it can be a little challenging for us older folks to navigate slippery surfaces or get in and out of the shower properly.

The hostess Isabelle was super cool and made us feel at home. The rooms were mint, and the lavender spray was a game-changer. The best part was exploring the beautiful surroundings, like hiking in the lush green hills and cycling through the peaceful countryside. It was an epic adventure!
The only thing we wished for was more party vibes. It's a chill place, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature, but as young party animals, we missed having a place to turn up the volume and dance our hearts out.

Featuring a garden with free bikes, terrace, and a children's playground, this charming accommodation in Verlinghem truly captivated me. However, it was the unique experience of enjoying a delightful à la carte breakfast while gazing at the stunning lake views that left me feeling like I was in a fairy tale. The well-equipped kitchenette in my cozy room made me feel like a culinary maestro, whipping up delicious meals with ease. And to top it all off, the complimentary WiFi and private parking were the cherries on the cake of this delightful stay.
Outdated plumbing and wiring.

We got great value for our money at this charming B&B. The room was incredibly comfortable and filled with thoughtful extras, like lavender spray for a restful night's sleep. The location was perfect - quiet and serene, with a beautiful garden and even a small lake. The hostess, Isabelle, was lovely and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable.
The breakfast menu could use a little more variety.
